Couture for a Cause is an organization started by Esther Silber and Michal Weinstein in order to raise money for various Jewish charities local and abroad. At Couture for a Cause's first annual fashion event in 2007, an event that was put together in less than 3 weeks, they raised over $20,000 for Shlomzion. The following year in 2008, they raised over $30,000 for Shlomzion at their second annual fashion event that featured Kara Janx from Project Runway. In 2009 Couture for a Cause joined forces with Toby and Uri Jacobs to throw a Purim masquerade party that raised money for Project Eliezer. Couture for a Cause's motto is to help fight poverty...but with a lot of style. By putting together fun, exciting, social events with flair that doubles as a vehicle for helping those less fortunate, Couture for a Cause is able to successfully make a difference in peoples lives.

About Esther Silber:
Graduated from Parson's School of Design with a degree in Fashion Merchaindising and Marketing. Esther owned a high end children's Boutique in South Beach, Florida called Alexa and Jack Children's Boutique. Founder of Bling Bling Baby, as seen in OK magazine, Life & Style magazine, US weekly magazine and on Access Hollywood. Esther is currenty raising 2 children and donating her time to various non-profit orginizations that helps the jewish community.

About Michal Weinstein:
Graduated Stern College for Women with a BA in Advertising and Communications and School of Visual Arts for Web and Graphic design and is currently president of mlwdesign.com a full service design firm. Michal's fashion experience begain in 1998 when she worked as Tahari LTD's first internal public reations manager. Michal is currently raising her four children while running her web business from home and donates her time to various non-profit organizations.
